We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our recent Otamatone video contest hosted on TikTok. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
First and foremost, we would like to thank all of the participants who submitted their amazing video entries. Your creativity, ingenuity, and sheer talent blew us away! It was genuinely challenging selecting the winner from amongst the incredible submissions that we received.
Our heartiest congratulations to the grand prize winner @tayeelor – their entry included a drawn story and music featuring our beloved Otamatone.
LIFE OF AN OTAMATONE
Their video explores the remarkable journey of an Otamatone through every stage of life. The Otamatone experiences moments of joy, love, loss, and redemption. In a touching conclusion, the Otamatone imparts an inspiring message to its loved ones, reminding them to “never to stop wah-ing”. We were impressed with the level of artistry and effort that went into creating such a thoughtful and original video!
But that’s not all – we also have four Judge’s Picks prize winners who entered amazing Otamatone videos.
pov: im your nail tech trying to entertain you while your nails soak
In this video, winner @melonbun.nails showcases their talent using a teal Otamatone. Their rendition of the iconic pop-punk anthem “All the Small Things” by Blink-182, is a delightful musical experience. With the clever caption “pov: I’m your nail tech trying to entertain you while your nails soak,” the video expertly blends entertainment and creativity.
WE CAN ONLY COUNT TO WAH!!
Winner @crabhands420’s video takes viewers on a wild ride of musical and visual whimsy. Set to the rock tune “Numbers (I Can Only Count to Four)” by Psychostick, the video brings forth a series of laugh-out-loud visuals. The fast-paced video features an adorable Kirby Otamatone Melody with expressive eyebrows. Truly an entry to remember!
Juice WRLD Glow’d up Otamatone cover
This video features winner @thefurryfoxlynx showcasing their incredible skills with the song “Glow’d Up” by Juice Wrld on the Hatsune Miku Otamatone. thefurryfoxlynx plays the Otamatone to the tune of the song’s lyrics and adds their own unique sound to the original track to create a fun and enjoyable experience.
Fizzy Waters (ft. #Otamatone )
This stellar performance features aspiring singer songwriter @eldenvmusic playing the piano, guitar, steel tongue drum and Black Otamatone Regular in a stunning composition called “Fizzy Waters (ft.#Otamatone)”. In the video, eldenvmusic uses the Otamatone to fill the air with soaring sounds creating an ethereal and relaxing tune.
